In my Father's house are many rooms
Every semester we have an event called Pizza Theology. At this event we delve into a heavier topic that's hard to approach in a smaller group setting or a short sermon. In the middle of this talk we break for pizza for dinner. This year the topic was over the second coming of Christ. This topic, I think can be a scary one for a lot of people, I know it was for many of our students. It was really helpful and important for our community to discuss this topic and that there's hope and joy in knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ will return one day. We had students tell horror stories of them as children being afraid of Jesus returning and being left, but as various of our staff shared we were reminded that we shouldn't be living in fear of Jesus's return. We should be living in anticipation of Him returning at any point. His return is a good thing because He will make things new and right again.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:1-3
Doing our spring semester we have a Showcase of various singers, musicians, dancers and artists who put together a performance in order to raise money for our students. The money goes to sending our students to the Spring Institute of Campus Ministry (SICM). SICM is in Washington State, we take 150 or more of our students to their discipleship training course. This course is put together by another campus ministry at Western Washington State University. Mark your calendars for this event, It is so fun and a great opportunity to support our student leaders and their growth as disciples! The Showcase is on April 7th with two showings one at 3 and the other at 7 with an art sale in between. The location is Bent Tree Bible Fellowship Church, Bent Tree Family Theater.
I'm so excited to inform you all that I'll be getting married this Summer! I proposed to Tate this past weekend. After dating for a little over a year and going through pre-engagement counseling with an older couple in our church, we decided to get married! We are very excited and are already hitting the ground running with wedding planning, so stay tuned. Tate has been an incredible source of joy and fun in my life over the last year. Tate is also a painter, loves creativity and most importantly loves the Lord. She's motivated me to pursue Him more deeply and to find peace and joy in Him. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her!

Prayer
A team of students will be coming from Western Washington University to partner with our students and staff and a week-long Outreach initiative on our campuses. Please pray that God would work in these conversations and Outreach events to reach the lost and hurting on our campuses. Pray that our students and staff members would boldly initiate spiritual conversations and friendship with the people they meet.
